Cell Phone Contracts Vs. Pay-as-you- Go
I really wish that I had chosen to stay with Cricket when I first had it but I wanted to go with someone with more stability. This is what I understanding before I switched over from to Verizon. Once my Verizon contract was up, I felt like a new woman. I was FREE!
I have found that being under a contract with a cell phone company can become irritating and boring. I’m the type of person who enjoys change and from time to time I want something new and different. Contracts aren’t something that I like signing because causes me to be obligated to something for longer than I intended on.
A lot of companies are actually taking the time to learn their customers. Most cell phone customers want nothing more than a profitable plan with no marriage. We don’t want to be tied down to something whenever we get the urge to switch over. This is the reason why I care for T-mobile so great. With Verizon I was stuck with a two year contract. By the time the first year was up I wanted out. Now, we all know that getting out of a contract is like pulling teeth. Either you pay a large fee or you wait until your contract is over.
Once I was divorced from Verizon I decided to check out the T-mobile flex pay. The t-mobile flex pay allows you to pay your bill in arrive through electronic transfer every month. You can either sign a contract with them or you can stick with a pay as you go phone. my bill is around $50 a month with unlimited texting. I got 350 minutes a month but I never end up using the,. I text way more than I talk so I figured why not go with the unlimited.
T-Mobile hasn’t killed my desire to be with them but I will say that I get a lot of dropped calls. With Verizon I never had this jam. I actually felt as if there was a network following me every where I went. This was about the only thing I like about Verizon. T-mobile gives me the ability to do as I please whenever I want to do it. I also get to pick and choose from their cool stock of phones.
We all know that when you get a pay as you go phone, you normally get stuck with an old model phone that is so outdated you’re embarrassed to even take it out in public.
I believe over time that pay as you go phones are going to be much more current than contracted phones. With society always being on the go and always getting bored fast, People are definitely going to want to have the option of changing over providers without having to deal with contractual issues.
