How To Keep Your Cell Phone Screen Private
There are plenty of shroud protectors out there, but not many provide privacy. I have a Blackberry Verizon Storm cell phone and I finally found the one protector that will achieve both on most mobile phones.
Instructions
Things You’ll Need:
- Cell Phone with a visible screen
- Nosy Friends and Co-workers
1. Search for Clarivue and click on the link or click here. Stare to the left of the home screen. You will see a menu. You can choose from many different hide protectors. Toward the bottom of the list you will spy two items that offer privacy. Base on the color of your cell phone or your preference you can choose either white or black privacy screen protectors. Once you have made a choice and arrived on the next web page, you will need to find the maker of your cellular phone. There are different models and cell phone providers on this page. I settle Blackberry and that is where the Verizon Storm was listed. You may need to know the model number of your cell phone, in case the actual name is not listed.
2. This is not a cheap cell phone accessory. These privacy screens list for $17.99. I have yet to find a screen that protects my cellular phone and provides privacy from people sitting end to me. When looking directly at my phone I can see everything perfectly, but if I am looking at an angle the screen looks gray. It is also difficult to determine what is on the screen. Perfect to retain wondering eyes off your personal text messages or emails!
3. This is one of the best phone features I have found that actually works on my cellular phone! If you only want a camouflage protector they are about $8 cheaper. Clarivue also offers a reasonable LIFETIME guarantee for hide protectors. The privacy screen does not come with a lifetime guarantee. Shipping, handling, and tax are all included in the price. The one disadvantage is that free shipping takes 5-10 business days and that is from the time they fill your order. So you should take that into consideration if you are in a hurry to net screen protection.
While searching online and going through forums, I found this to be the one solution for me. I also shopped at stores such as Radio Shack, Best Buy, and there was not a screen that included privacy. Since I installed my screen, I have found out just how well it works! Many people will say … “Is there something wrong with your screen it looks gray? ” I just have to laugh, because that was exactly what I was trying to achieve!
